In 2012, 90.3 AMP Radio is giving Calgary-area music artists over $500,000 in Career Development support.
Join us for the ROCK STAR 2012 Final, February 4, 2012 at MRU's Wyckham House. Hear music from our six finalists and special guests For The Weekend, winners of ROCK STAR 2011. We will also be awarding the grand prize of $200,000 in career development support.
This is what went down last year:
The AMP Rock Star 2011 Finale was held Saturday, April 9th, 2011. It was a packed show, and after five hours of music from Calgary's top new artists, For the Weekend was awarded the top prize of the evening. The winner was chosen from a panelist of three top music executives as well as by ballots for all those in attendance. Thanks to everyone who came out to support local Calgary talent!
